ARTICLES

We will be accepting article submissions throughout 2023. Make sure you read over this section thoroughly if you wish to cross promote, collaborate or pitch an article.

Guidelines

​

The types of articles that we will review include personal experiences, mental health, educational, opinionated pieces, sustainability, activism, fashion, modeling. No copyrighted images or information. See Rules located on the right for more details.

Moodboards for the article can be sent in along with the articles but the images within the moodboard will not be used. No copyrighted images or information. Make sure to check out our Editorial Calendar for inspiration and monthly themes in upcoming issues.

Fashion Magazine

Rules​

  • Must be subscribed to NFM's monthly newsletter.

  • No copyrighted images or information.

  • No celebrity or idol related articles.

  • No hate, racist, xenophobic, or anti-LGBTQ+ messaging. Articles must be based on positivity, learning, growth, education, or personal experience.

  • Redirects & advertisement posts are subject to a fee.

EDITORIALS

Guidelines

We will be accepting themed submissions for each month. Types of work that we will review include Fashion, Beauty, Art, Men, Sensual (implied nudity), and more. You must have clothing listed and up to four looks whether clothing (or makeup for beauty.) If your submission fits into the aesthetic of another issue, we will notify you and request for that month. Please check out our Editorial Calendar and our Instagram stories for themes and inspiration (IG: @nfmmag).

Before Submitting:

  1. If you are submitting the editorial and are not the photographer, please confirm and present to us a permission/release form from the photographer that owns the copyright to the images.

  2. Once an image is accepted to be published, it grants us the permission to use your work in any of our publications, websites, videos, marketing pieces, advertisements, and any other mediums or formats used in the creation, dissemination, and monetization of Nfm Magazine.

  3. By submitting to Nfm Magazine, you agree to the above terms and agreements.

Rejection Reasons:

  • Your work is either unsuitable or does not fit with the flow of the issue

  • There is little or no space left for placement

  • The quality of work is not high enough

  • Wardrobe is repeated throughout the editorial

  • Repeated makeup looks

  • Images contain watermarks

  • You have not supplied enough images to create a full story

  • Credits are not given

Nfm is always looking to spotlight creatives in human interest stories. If you are interested in being a spotlight artist, please send your bio and/or PR deck along with your submission.


*WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE TITLE AFTER ACCEPTANCE!*

*Please note we reserve the right to pull your editorial from the published issue and add it to a webtorial.

Tearsheets will be sent two weeks after the publication release.​

Image Requirements

  • 4-8 images

  • JPG, PNG, or TIF format

  • sRGB color profile

  • Must have multiple looks (makeup or styling)

  • Allowed sizes (flexible rules):

  • Portrait: 8.5 × 11 in, 300 dpi (2550 × 3300 px)

  • Landscape: 17 × 11 in, 300 dpi (5100 × 3300 px)

  • Must be exclusive and unpublished
